Personality: 

Swing is not very friendly bot, it’s really hard to get close to him.
Swing is stubborn and he can get so easily upset with even little Non important thing. He doesn’t like when something isn’t goes like he wants to, then he most often reacts with anger and violence. He’s a cocky and snippy.
But when you succeed in getting close to him, Swing becomes a caring person. He understand that he has to keep his loved ones close to him.
Swing is not a bad person, he just need a big hug and lots of love.

Backstory:

Swing (formerly PhBx05) was created during the Great War by scientist named Phialbase. Swing was a 5th super soldier who worked for a decepticons' intelligence. He stole plans, located hideouts and acquired other information concerning the Autobots. Thanks to his high skills with guns, sometimes Swing was sent on battlefields as a sharpshooter(with Phialbase's approval).
Most of his missions was located on Earth, and thanks to that Swing knows a lot about human culture. Actually he really liked those missions, they weren't just killing autobots.
Of course missions like that had the other side of the coin. Swing was always alone, and because of this he didn't develop social skills. When he stationed in Kaon no one wanted to befriend him, because he was 'unnatural creation' of science and he was unpredictable and emotionally unstable. When something went not as he planned, he reacted with aggression. Some soldiers even were scared of him. Also Swing didn't know how to make friends and on what topics he could talk with other cons in the base.
Phialbase also was a reason that Swing was socially maladjusted. Scientist didn't teach him basic things about life, he never had time for Swing, because of work. Phialbase was more focused on his super soldier project and upgrades for his creation. Phialbase didn’t give him a name! For him Swing was always PhBx05. Swing  left onhis own, absorbed the worst behaviour of the soldiers. Aggression, vulgarity, intolerance these were things he learned from observation.
Swing just wanted some attention from his creator, and to achieve this, he started to sign up for more dangerous battles. He returned wounded from every battle, but Phialbase's reaction was always opposite than he imagined. Scientist scolded him that he have to be more careful because they don't have that much spare parts for him and changed his damaged armour. Phialbase never said that he was worried.During one mission in Vos, Swing was shot in chestplate near his spark. Soldiers assumed that he is dead, because he wasn't moving. For the first time Phialbase started to worry about Swing and demanded to came back for his body, because they don't know if he's dead. But nobody listen to him. General decided that squadro have to retreat due to heavy fire. Swing was left alone on a cold ground surrounded by dead bodies. Few times he tried to communicate with scientist but his communicator was broken. He gave up turning off optics and waited for Primus to come for him. But instead of Primus, a mysterious bot appeared in front of him and rescue Swing.
