Caolan is a vampiric plant man. Don't ask why this is a thing, simply know that it's what came to mind before I bought him, and it's the hill I've chosen to die on. Anyhow, yes, vampiric plant man. He lives among thorns and roses which give off an alluring aroma to those who draw too near, rendering their minds foggy, forgetful...easy to lure. He invites them in, standing in the midst of this garden and beckoning for them to join him for a time, to rest since they've traveled so long to make it so deep into this forest...sometimes, he allows these people to reach him unscathed, the thorns moving aside, and he simply takes enough to sustain himself a while longer before leaving them near the edge of the wood, guarded by thorns until they wake, groggy and confused, maybe dizzy, but no worse for wear. Other times, though, he lets the scent of their blood mingle with the aroma of his roses as they walk through thorns to reach him...creating a heady scent to whet his appetite before he drains them dry, and buries them deep to continue to nourish his garden.

Like many magical forest dwellers, he tends to make this decision based on how his 'visitors' behave towards him while under the influence. Those who are simply enchanted and curious and those who perhaps have other intent but maintain their charm and manners are the ones who tend to live, while others he has observed to be vile, or who have acted crudely or rudely towards him tend to become fertilizer and are never seen again. He has been known on occasion to aid those who are lost within his territory, sometimes asking for something in exchange, other times simply guiding them out and vanishing from sight. It is rare that he has repeat visitors, but on such occasions he tends to treat them kindly, and will slowly warm up to them as they grow used to the effects of his garden. Such people tend to benefit from his aid and protection while in the forest, and sometimes...once in a blue moon...he'll leave them with a rose from his garden.

Fun Facts:
-In the center of his garden is, essentially, a giant rose that he'll lounge in.
-He's very extra, his laugh is literally the masculine form of the 'ojou/hime laugh.'
-His roses come in all different colors, natural and not.
