- As a Wishmaker, Zacharius's job is to grant any person who summons him from his lamp three wishes. After the three wishes they request are granted, he proceeds to kill them.
- Throughout history, Zacharius has been described as demonic in many different writings. Despite this, he is not a demon.
- While he is made of star and water vapor, Zacharius can make physical contact with things and people.
- Zacharius's true name is both unspellable and inaudible by mortal lifeforms. Because of this, he adopted a more human name.
Zacharius is a genie from the depths of the cosmic realm. He resides in his lamp which, when disturbed by a human, releases him and allows him to grant three wishes to whoever has awakened him. Time does not pass inside of his lamp, and after the three wishes are granted, he takes the life of whoever wished upon him. He purposely neglects to mention this when the deal has begun.
A sadistic, cold hearted, and chaotic individual, Zacharius spends much of his time plotting and calculating. He enjoys setting humans up to conflict with one another, and likes the anger, sadness and misery that comes from it.
As his current holder, Zane Ivanov refuses to request his third wish. Since there is no rule for how long the wisher can take with their requests, Zacharius is bound to him until he is specifically given a third request.
Genies, being an incredibly rare species, are often sought after and fetch a high price for black market traders who are aware of the end result of using a genie. Zacharius pities those people, because they're "too stupid to realize just how malicious other humans can be".
Zacharius also spends a fair bit of time antagonizing Matilda Pall, whom seems to loathe him. Because he finds it a bit cute how angry she gets with him, he shows no real interest in harming her. On the other hand, he despises VIVO, though he has no concrete reason why.
