Peggo

Peggo is a creature from wasteland alternate universe #3316. He was transported to AIR in a fluke time warp, where he went from year 2030 to the present day. He is a doglike, unnamed species of bird-mammal-reptile.

His species's special defining feature is their constantly-shifting texture. Staying constant for about ten minutes at a time, their coat will shift between many different materials such as dense, short feathers, coiled wool, and an alpaca's soft fur. He has a generally fluffy, white mane, and a yellow coat that leads into a sleek, scaled, tail that is thick because it stores fats for later use.

Peggo does not have eyes, making him completely blind. Despite this he is nimble, using echolocation to get around. He has a variety of noises, mostly chirps, hissing, and barks. His claws are made for digging. His large, scalloped, furry mouth is made for swallowing food in large parts. 

He is a cold-blooded scavenging omnivore. He lives on the streets in general but you can usually find him cuddling someone in one of his area's surrounding apartment complexes. Peggo is a mild-tempered, affectionate creature. His species was bred to be either pets, eaten, or used for hunting or harvesting. No one knows what Peggo would taste like.

MOST IMPORTANTLY: he is chubby, his claws click on a hard floor pleasantly, and he smells strongly buttery, or like fried eggs or popcorn depending on his demeanor.
