Honestly it's all going to boil down to who sounds more interesting and original, considering the 100 characters already in the trials, and considering the last opening, the 200+ other ocs they're up against.
And just who I get more attached by the time of the POSSIBLE second opening.

Outline/Character Questionnaire --to give insight on his character
-Not completed. There's a lot of different ideas for the life he led up until the trials, and some of it may be cut, like the murder mystery idea with the npc Reiner, just simply because as much as I want to heavily include those detective themes, there's just a LOT here and I only want so much for his backstory, considering how crazy the trial's get.
-Basically inspired off of the line; lonely detective fish boy.
-Fish are friends, not food!
-The game is afoot!

Possible Names: Salmon (same), Snail, Bee, Mayfly

-Has less development than the male version, but that's also because it's a newer idea
-Basically has Rapunzel themes, except her wicked step mother is an old fart who's actually not that bad...deep, deep down. And also if Rapunzel had siblings, wasn't a stolen princess, and is living in CalStan's TPT/PR world
-Totally wasn't inspired by listening to "Dead Hearts." Nope.
-Has the same lonely themes as Salmon, as well as self-discovery themes.
-Unlike Salmon, she's isn't running away from responsibility (well maybe a fight with her pops but--) but rather is looking to save her brother and maybe make a place for herself in the world, have an adventure on the side, etc
