Curious for all the wonders the world has to offer. He spends time collecting things he finds beautiful like rocks, so he can admire them whenever he feels down. Exploring is all he wants to do, taking in everything around him. But he needs to take his time with doing so because he's scared of what lies beyond what he knows. Finding it helps to calm his nerves a little, Tourmaline tries to be a leader whenever he can; feeling like others depend on him makes him think more critically. He likes to try impress others. Joking around is fun to him, and he loves to tell corny jokes. For the most part he honours what he says, unless it was a dangerous spur-of-the-moment promise he made and forgot about.

A little skittish, always ready to run when he's in a new place. Usually the first to chicken out of a dare and easily spooked out of competitions with a threat. Although he knows when he shouldn't do something, Tourmaline is weak-willed and usually ends up doing it anyway. When he's scared or caves to a desire he shouldn't have, he makes up overdramatic stories of how that happened instead of just being honest; because he's worried about appearing weak. He's somewhat selfish, not wanting to share anything; though he usually feels bad about it after but he won't change his mind. This stallion has picked up some bad manners but it's something he's trying to work on.
