He grew up working at a coliseum in Corinium, but was found by the church when a caravan he was traveling on was attacked. From then the church raised him, and he found peace in Kyrios' teachings and in learning from His blessed apostle, Xiu. When they were sent on a pilgrimage east, Gaius followed and swore to protect them on their travels. He's a quiet, dour man.
