Jade was an archangel of God, until her fellow archangels conspired against her to get God to revoke her of her status. They spun a story that she was dealing with the devil, which she was not. God believed the archangels, however. He ripped Jade's wings from her back and cast her down to Earth where she wandered aimlessly for three days and three nights. On the third night, Satan showed himself to her. He promised to give her whatever she desired if she became his "right hand". Having been betrayed by those who she trusted and cared for, she agreed.
