Shockclaw is a cat who has many mixed feelings about him. On one hand, he's the successful apprentice of the King. Skilled at his job and trusted with his duties. On the other though... There are many rumors that lurk behind him about his past and the darkness that clings to it. Some cats believe him to be cursed due to his past, and blame him for what's happened.

• Many believe that Shockclaw's mother, Goldenface, commited a great crime by cheating on her mate. They believe that Shockclaw is the proof of her disloyalty, and that he's doomed to hurt everyone he touches. His father going mad and murdering his siblings and the cat who sired them is only proof of that in their eyes.
• Despite his dislike, not many can speak against him due to his favor with Houndeclipse, especially now that he's been publicly adopted.
• Shockclaw is mates with the smelter Honeypetal
• Shockclaw has a black snake companion named Maelstrom
• Despite being a Wildfire, Shockclaw's skills are far more suited to him being an Ember-Tracker.
• Shockclaw has a broken horn! Asking him will always get you a different answer, but it really isn't a secret that it really came from Houndeclipse.
