Fester

Fester is a cryptid-type monster. It behaves somewhat ghost-like, usually lingering in the distance and only allowing itself to be seen sometimes. It usually manifests in woods.

Wendighosts are created when a cannibal dies with a frozen heart. (Either literally from freezing or symbolically by something similar to bein closed off from human contact/emotions/etc.) They're more common in the north (or ig the south too; i'm just sayin they're more common in cold places.) Wendighosts are generally killed by burnin their heart.

• It has a coyote skull for a head, which floats above where its neck should be.
• Its shoulder/collarbone area is covered in fluff.
• Its hands are bony and have large claws.
• Sometimes, a yellow-green glow shows through its eye sockets.
• The outline of its ribs and spine are visible through its skin.
• Inside its stomach, there are worms, which sometimes spread to other parts of its body.
• Its wounds and innards are green and plant-like. For example, short moss would grow over minor scrapes.
• Sometimes mushrooms and fungi grow on its torso and upper legs. The areas around these growths would be green and mossy.

• Fester is based on a combination of things that Carnes would fear. As such, some of its design is directly related to things from Fallout: New Vegas. Its hands are based on Deathclaw hands, and its eyes (when glowing) are meant to resemble the eyes of the ghost people from the Sierra Madre.
• Fester doesn't have any official plotlines. It's mainly a not-too-serious/hypothetical character for toying with ideas.
• Obviously, it's based on Wendigos.
