Profile
Sai Mokushi's mother's pregnancy was unplanned. After much consideration, she decided to keep the baby anyway. A few days after his birth, it became clear that Sai was completely blind. Worried she would not be able to properly care for her son, his mother reluctantly surrendered him to the local orphanage, then moved far away so he would not accidentally find her.
One day while playing outside, a young Sai came across a tiny Ralts hiding in tall grass. Not knowing how else to communicate, it telepathically showed him that its mother had been killed, so Sai took care of her in her stead. In return, Ralts helped to guide him around and act as his eyes.
Over the years they developed a tight bond, and feeling empowered and secure with Ralts' help, Sai set out to travel the world. He gathered a team of Pokemon for self-defense (being blind makes him an otherwise easy target), but generally avoids battles.
