Unzen's Mini Theme

He was an almost official character (NIS please give him a game)

basically all i really own is the brainstorming ideas idk

• I'm gonna make his bday November 22
• Searched around, he doesn't have a name but it would probably have a volcano theme to it
• I really like the name Unzen
• I forgot Unzen has to hide he has mixed blood whoops. I mean like, how can he hide that?  Almost everyone knows how much Flonne means to Laharl. Maybe say he's adopted or something but the trio knows the truth. it's the only way I can see this happening, if it was under those circumstances

(Kaz) i quite like the sound of unzen ^u^ and the notes you have on him so far makes him sound like an absolute dear?? i love him! i honestly think laharl and flonne's closest circle of vassals would end up doting on him, tho they might lightheartedly tease him from time to time, too. quite like how they treated laharl, aha~ 

about him hiding the fact that he's half angel, maybe it could apply to new people he meets? kind of like, the entire castle (or maybe netherworld, too? idk) knows he's laharl and flonne's actual son, but outsiders aren't privy to it. him hiding his angel blood could be bc flonne's mission isn't complete yet, and there are still demons all over the various netherworlds who'll likely dismiss him or outright act viciously towards him if they end up finding out

Father and Son

• Unzen copies his dad's laugh and laharl is like hey that's my laugh. Unzen says that he looks up to him and Laharl is smirks and tells him that unzen can borrow it for bit.
• Laharl shares his screen time with his son, is secretly like "look at my son"
• (Nesky) Unzen borrowing the laugh that’s so cute— what if the two cameoed together in combat with the other Disgaea characters and when they lose Unzen is upset like Laharl was when he was younger, but Laharl now is just “don’t talk to me or my son ever again”
• (Nesky) Suddenly imagines unzen saying Laharls his Vassal in the same way and Flonnes losing it in the background.

Unzen: M-m-..
Flonne: Laharl, he’s going to say something! Can you say mommy?
Unzen: (points at laharl) My vassal!

 Family Bonding

• Unzen stumbles upon his mother's old super prism ranger DVDs and watches them. he totally takes a liking to them and then scurries to make a handmade mask. Flonne checks up on him and has the big grin on her face. She loves him so much!! She joins in on the fun with her old mask as well and they play together. They sometimes make Laharl or Etna to join in as well, either they playfully fight or they join in for a short while
• (Kaz) what if. laharl plays along with them, too? he acts like the overlord who kidnapped the damsel, and he laughs loudly a lot, but one tiny punch from unzen has him dramatically crumpling to the ground and crying out "curse youuuuu"

• Unzen being nervous about giving his mother his gift. He's super flustered and Flonne gives him a hug and tells him that she loves it
• I JUST IMAGINED HIM HUGGING HIS MOM AND KISSING HER ON THE CHEEK CAUSE ITS MOTHER'S DAY
• Unzen makes a gift for Etna on mother's day too. He just wants to let her know how much he appreciates his auntie. we already know Etna has a soft spot for kids
• Ok ok so everyone basically has a soft spot for this kid
• So i have this idea of Xenolith takes off his jacket and Unzen (sneakily) steals it for a bit. Soon Xenolith starts to look for his jacket and starts to ask Etna if she's seen it but Etna quickly signals him to be quiet. Unzen had fallen asleep on Etna's bed with Xenolith's jacket still on. He and Etna smile at the future heir.
• Imagines Unzen cheering on his Auntie during a fight ajdifjfoe. Boosts his allies stats by 1000000%-
• Flonne ruffles her son's fluffy hair
• He loves his mom and dad so much.

• (@tayyystubbs for the original tweet)i just saw a dad get out of the car with his two young boys and he yells ‘WHO CAN GO HUG MOM THE FASTEST?!’ and all of them start running toward their house. that’s the kind of future i want.
• imagine if that was a race between Laharl and Unzen. I picture them running down the hall, Flonne opening her office door to see what all the commotion is about and then gets a surprise hug from her two favorite boys. Unzen and his father go back and forth on who was first when their interrupted with a laugh from their favorite Angel. She hugs them back and says she's missed them.
• Flonne teaches him defense spells while Laharl trains him in sword skills. I think that's possible in Disgaea?
