Owner of a bar called Slim's, lives in the apartment above it. Quiet but friendly, easy-going, diligent, private, patient to a fault and easy to manipulate. Diplomatic but not afraid to get involved when necessary. Hardcore ace and very shy about relationship matters. 

Younger brother was murdered as a teenager, still very close with brother's boyfriend Ian and their close friend Amy. Amy lives with him and works in the bar. Dating Derrek Howser.

Slim's is under the full time protection of Derrek's gang and sometimes sees some violence as a result. Keeps a handgun under the bar and in the back office for protection.
