Profile
Tsuru Haruno is a chunin from Konohagakure. Overall, he's not a very special or noteworthy ninja-- he's honestly really average. Most people tend to discredit him, especially because he comes from a civilian family, but he's got a good heart and a desire to prove that he's a competent ninja.
Appearance
Tsuru is pretty easily recognizeable because of his long, bright pink hair. It's fluffy and thick, and falls to around the tops of his thighs. He's of pretty average height, with a small build and long legs. He's a sleek-looking guy with a wild mane of pink hair. He's usually wearing black, and loves to show his arms and midriff.
- His bangs usually cover his right eye, and he usually keeps some of his hair in a small ponytail.
- His right eye is almost always covered by an eyepatch. Underneath, he has small scars on his eyelid/cheeks and a sharingan. His left eye is dark brown.
- His fingernails and toenails are always painted black.
- He wears dark or reddish eyeshadow. It's pretty subtle, but it's there.
- He wears his ninja headband tied around his left thigh.
Personality
Tsuru's a vain boy. He's obsessed with looking his best at all times, and he gets very irritated and stressed out if something is out of place. He's a hopeless romantic and spent most of his time trying to find a boyfriend, which is part of why he's so worried about looking good. He's very easily distracted by cute boys... and also very motivated by them. He's very very very boy-crazy. Really, he's just desperate for validation and love from others; mostly romantic, but also platonic. He wants to be noticed and loves positive attention of any kind.
Most people would consider Tsuru to be respectful and polite, and he usually is. He's very easily intimidated by powerful and/or important people, and tries to get on their good side by being as respectful as possible. He's a little bit of a coward, but he tries his best and he definitely has his moments of courage. On the other hand, though, he can be pretty sassy or mean when he's annoyed or around people he doesn't like.
In general, Tsuru is very empathic. He tends to feel how other people feel. If others are happy, he's happy. If they're tense, he's also very tense and nervous. He's very easily affected by others' sadness as well, and tries his best to help them with their problems. If it's a big problem, though, his cowardly side usually wins unless there's someone with a bit more confidence who has the same goal. He's more of a follower than a leader-- he'd love to follow along with someone doing something big or influential, but he'd never have the courage or confidence to do so himself.

- His sharingan has two tomoe currently, but it can be drawn with just one.
- His main nature type is water, though he doesn't really like it...
- For being so easily intimidated, he's very persuasive and good at debating. It surprises him just as much as anyone else.
- His main weapon is a knife carved out of bone. It's very hard and very very sharp.
- He has an orange cat named Soba... because he's long like a noodle.
- He doesn't use his sharingan much, and only really uses it for the Vision Enhancement. The whole chakra drain thing makes him really nervous, and no one was really ever around to show him how to do anything else. Please someone teach this boy.
- He's not a very heavy hitter, but he's very fast and has really good accuracy. He's often the one who deals the most hits, just because he's the one who Hits the most. He's a lot more talented than he gives himself credit for.

History
tba... an average boy born into a civilian family. wanted to be a good ninja but didn't have aspirations to be The Best. when he was around 5ish he got into an accident that severely damaged his left eye and put him in the hospital. specifics tba.. but anyways there was a super old guy in the room next to him having to hear this poor kid wail about how he's missing an eye now and he'll never be a good ninja yadda yadda and he's like. here kid take mine haha i'm not gonna use it anymore (because he was old as fuck and dying). and wouldn't you know it that guy was an uchiha and they put that sharingan right in that lil kid's face. ofc it was awkward i'm sure bc like right afterwards all of them died :) but yeah so he was a tiny tiny child w a cool eye he had to keep covered most of the time. he Vaguely learned how to use it from his jounin teacher when he became a genin but not the specific properties of it, since his teacher was a hyuuga and. didn't have a sharingan. his team consisted of a yamanaka girl a yr younger than him and a boy konchu who was a yr older than him. he hated konchu and still is iffy abt him because he's. gross and full of bugs and he's really stupid. but anyways he learned shit for a few yrs and took the chunin exams when his teacher was sure he'd pass, which was only like a yr ago. and now he's off on all sorts of wacky adventures because he's a dnd character :)
