Oliver is one of the three main protagonists for a turn-based RPG game I plan on possibly making some day! It takes place in a high school full of monsters and is a quest to break the time loop the school is stuck in so everyone can finally move on to summer break.
He was the first to notice that the school seemed to be stuck in some kind of time loop, as he tends to watch the clock like a hawk to get out of class as soon as possible. He can't really go borrow paint from his dads' shop and tag some random abandoned train cars outside of town when stuck in school on the last day before summer break thanks to someone freezing time now can he?
Oliver takes the role of a ranged attacker, using his paintball skills to use. He is capable of hitting ranged and flying enemies his friends may not be able to and inflicting different status effects on his foes, ranging from blinding them to make their attacks miss to straight up paralyzing or poisoning them using different enchanted paints.
Oliver is a force of chaos. He is well known as the "class clown" and is usually sent out of class at least twice a week. Loud, obnoxious to some, and constantly bouncing around. He never intentionally tries to be rude but he isn't the most self aware person and often ends up doing or saying something that does lead to someone getting hurt. He's working on getting better about thinking before he opens his mouth, with the help of Malcolm and Andy. He also has a habit of... over apologizing? He says sorry a lot. He's just here to have fun and make a mess and vibe with his friends after school.

Oliver has had a pretty normal homelife for a monster. He was adopted at a very young age by his two dads, a hobgoblin and a gnoll, and has lived a pretty happy life. His parents encourage his artistic dream, and are always there for support. In middle school, he met Malcolm and Andy. The three became friends pretty quickly after they got themselves lost on a fieldtrip and their own little adventure together. Well, Andy and Oliver had fun. Malcolm was asleep for most of it. The trio often get themselves into some sort of weird mess at least once a year, and their Junior year of high school is no different.
The setting is the last day of high school before summer break. There's no actual work for today and people are mostly just hanging out with their friends making summer plans and saying their goodbyes to their teachers. Oliver notices, after a couple of hours, that time doesn't actually seem to be passing and trying to contact anyone outside of the school doesn't work. Understandably concerned, he goes to find Malcolm and Andy.
The three all realize that something isn't right and that the school has been stuck into a time loop. Andy, being the celestial goddess she is, goes to attempt to fix it using some Time MacGuffins that she "borrowed" from her father. Lo and behold the MacGuffins are missing. They must have fallen out of Andy's bag at some point (or someone stole them), creating rifts in space. It is up to Oliver, Malcolm, and their classmates to find the MacGuffins so they can finally go home.
