Nightmare is the side of Pincushion that she buries deep, deep within herself. To her, Nightmare embodies everything she hates about herself; rage, anger, uncontrollable sadness. When she is upset, it takes over, and she becomes Nightmare, a beast of entirely negative emotion. While Nightmare is still technically Pinny, she does not think of him as such, but rather an entirely different being that she becomes. She hates it, wishes she could destroy it- but Nightmare is a part of her, and it will always be there.

Sunday is Pincushion's partner. Through him, Pinny is learning to love properly. Their reltionship started out rough, but through his guidance, Pincushion began to become healthier, and soon enough she was making progress on her own. Generally speaking, they are still extremely attached to him, but they've grown to become independent and capable of being on their own- something that was thought to have been millions of years away at the start. Pincushion believes he is the reason she's become the person she is today, and even if she regrets what harm she has done to him, she doesn't regret changing for the better.
