Brought into existence alongside her twin, Sakina couldn't be any more different from him. At first glance, Sakina might appear to be the darker counterpart to Hasim, his complete polar opposite. Evil, even. In reality, they are dual sides of the same coin - different and yet similar in several ways. Their natures are not always concrete.
While it was Bastet who created her, Sakina is devoted to Sekhmet and often does her bidding. In some ways, Sakina could be seen as something of a living avatar of the goddess. The only other being she values is her brother, she views herself as his protector and she can sometimes be very overbearing but it is a tendency born out of her love and devotion for her twin. Even so, it's not unusual for them to quarrel - oftentimes violently so.
While Sakina often presents herself as feminine, her gender is as malleable as clay. It's not usual that she'll present herself with masculine features or straddle the line somewhere in-between and use pronouns that reflect these changes. Similarly, her sexuality is just as fluid and she shows little preference toward any one attraction. While she's incapable of forming any romantic relationships, she's not above toying with the affections of mortals - though this comes at their own peril and discretion.
In addition to her human form, Sakina also favors the forms of a kudu and a lioness.
