harmony is fairly short, standing at 5’4”. he has a petite frame, with delicate limbs and hands. he wears makeup on a daily basis, aiming for a dewy and angelic look. his hair is cut in a short bob and dyed a light pink that fades into yellow at the tips. he has one prominent ahoge that is reminiscent of a halo. he has soft, rounded features, and darker skin. his light purple eyes are prescription contacts. he rarely frowns, keeping to a gentle smile as his default expression.

         for his outfits, harmony prefers pastels, leaning towards pink and purple. he prefers shorts and tights over pants or skirts, and likes loose, flowing tops. he likes flower and lace patterns, and often wears a pair of fake angel wings. overall, he wants to come off as beautiful and otherworldly. he is skilled at controlling his body language to come off as gentle and delicate.

        harmony wants to be loved, to be fawned over, to be worshiped. he is a god and everyone else is beneath him. he doesn’t want to be romantically sought after, though, and is in fact incredibly repulsed by romantic and sexual advances. part of his disgust comes from someone daring to believe they could share the same space as him. he believes he is untouchable, and anyone who tries to encroach on his position should be punished.

        in spite of his megalomania, he is courteous to others, although it borders on condescending at times. he believes that being polite to others is the key to winning their respect. others tend to either love or hate his saccharine performance, with there being a mix of those gullible to fall for it and those who enjoy flattery, even if it’s empty. harmony recognizes that he doesn’t have the presence to gain followers through (overt) fear, so he aims to be as charming as possible.

        to strangers, harmony is friendly and warm, willing to lend an ear to their troubles or engage them in interesting conversation. harmony is curious to a fault and fairly book-smart, so he has a lot of intriguing facts and tidbits to impress his conversation partner with. he is adept at reading others body language, and will adjust his accordingly. for those who have known him for longer, harmony is more withdrawn. he is more willing to use subtle threats to keep someone in his circle, although he will never outright threaten violence by his hand.

        he holds grudges for an obscenely long time, and seeks passive aggressive revenge by means of pushing someone towards an unpleasant situation. then, he’ll simply wait for the opportunity to ignore their pleas for help. in his view, if something bad happens to someone he dislikes, it is just karmic justice.

        harmony never flat out lies to anyone (aside from his fabricated personas), but will creatively bend the truth in order to get what he wants. on the other hand, harmony can detect people lying to him fairly well, and will usually cut the conversation off at that moment. he gravitates towards those who aren’t going to push back against him.

        he doesn’t like to take risks, and is very self-controlled. he rarely comes off as sad or angry. it’s not even that he bottles those feelings up, it’s more so he doesn’t feel like anyone else can affect him to that degree. he absolutely still gets disappointed at times, but it takes a lot to push him to genuine rage.

        despite having devoted followers, harmony still does most of his work himself. he’s a firm believer in the notion of “if you want it done right, you have to do it yourself.” the only time that he’ll stray from that is anything that would taint his angelic facade. for example, he could use a fake id to purchase alcohol, but he would much rather send someone else (either of age or with a fake id) to do it instead. he is insistent as coming off as pure to the general public.

         harmony was born into a rich family deeply entrenched in a cult. from birth, harmony was believed by his parents to be an ideal vessel for their cult, and was doted on excessively. he was put into accelerated education at private schools that led harmony to be quickly isolated from anyone his age. in his darkest moments, harmony sometimes reflects back to this stolen childhood, and wonders how he would have turned out had he been able to grow up like a normal child.

         the main tenet that the cult held was the worship of angels and demons, and a summoning every few months to “bless” one “lucky” member of the cult with possession by an angel or demon. harmony’s parents used their social standing in the cult to push harmony to the top of the list, and on his tenth birthday, harmony stood in the summoning circle.

         unlike the many other victims of the cult, harmony took quite well to sharing his body with an otherworldly being. what people didn’t see was harmony venting a decade’s worth of frustration and anger onto the angel sharing his brain. the angel was relatively weak, and harmony was able to mercilessly bully it into submission. his parents doted on him even more then, and impressed into him how special and perfect he was.

         one year later, when harmony was away at an after-school cram session, a fire was set at harmony’s mansion. his parents perished, and a good chunk of the mansion was destroyed. with such a high profile pair of deaths, there was a storm of conspiracies and confusion that surrounded the scene. some believed it to be the work of the cult, and harmony further extrapolated it to be jealousy from him not descending into madness like many others who had received the cult’s “gift”. regardless, harmony felt nothing but freedom. his parents coddling had made him feel like more of an object than a person, and they had scheduled his whole life from the moment he was born. in the media frenzy that followed the case, harmony managed to slip away into the shadows, pocketing a good amount of savings.

         harmony took on a new identity as well, wanting to not be viewed as a former rich kid who suffered a tragic loss. he knew he couldn’t get very far as a solitary eleven year old, so he struck up a deal with monstrucatus to rent a room from them while he figured out what he was doing. monstrucatus normally didn’t accept humans as wards, but was convinced by harmony’s offering of cold cash. harmony missed the feeling of being worshiped, and so slowly started to build his following.

         he had help from the angel living in his body, who he was now adept at controlling. leeching magic from the angel, harmony’s intuition when it came to reading people was near flawless. he also used a little bit of it to help punch up his disguises.

         eventually harmony enrolled in the school proper, although not under the name harmony. he had picked up and dropped several different personas over the years. whenever the facade grew stale and the stream of attention he got dried up to a trickle, he invented a new character for him to play.

         the school took notice of harmony’s need for attention, and offered him a deal. continued unlimited room and board in exchange for working for the school. harmony accepted, thinking it was much better than continuing to drag himself to a part time job, and the school introduced him to the concept of occult club. or rather, the school’s student research branch masquerading as occult club. harmony’s charisma pulled people to the club, and once they realized that it was a farce, it was too late for them to leave.

         marie, who had been observing harmony for a while, finally called him out for his multiple disguises. harmony was fearful of his facade being torn down, and so invited marie to occult club so he could keep a close eye on her. since then, he’s become fairly certain that she has no intention of selling him out, but has realized more what a powerful ally she is. he hasn’t switched personas from harmony in a long time because of his work with occult club
