Kasdeya Maraeth, the bad apple of the Maraeth family, and older sibling of Ambrosia, who she teasingly nicknamed ‘Rosie’. She was 10 years older than her.

December 26th 718,730: Kasdeya poisons both her parents to attempt to be chosen quicker by the effigy of the First Queen. This backfired and it chose Ambrosia instead, even though she was only 8 years old- but she wasn’t aware of this yet.

Instead or killing her sister she chose to lock her away while she ruled the Demon Territory, never visiting her until 10 long years later, on Ambrosia’s 18th birthday. Ambrosia had not aged over the 10 years. She was still in the body of an eight year old. Kasdeya was enraged, jealous.. and murderous. She attempted to kill her in the spot but was stopped by Royal servants, insisting they have an official battle as Ambrosia was chosen in the first place. Ambrosia and Kasdeya accepted this challenge. Kasdeya knew this was going to be an easy win: she was only a child after all.

Kasdeya was crushed. Easily. Ambrosia had been practising on improving her magic skill for ten years. Ambrosia was victorious and rightfully claimed the throne: throwing Kasdeya to the dungeon immediately.

7 years later, at age 35: Ambrosia held a public execution for her sister, beheading her in front of the entire kingdom. Ambrosia had her horns tailored into a trophy.
