Profile

Miomir, despite being fourth in line to inherit the Kristos family dynasty, would likely have never been anyone's first choice as an heir. His icy-blue eyes and affinity for shadow aether conjured up images of Rakta and bad omens in the minds of the superstitious nobility, and when combined with his often angry demeanor and short temper, left him both as the family "black sheep" and as an easy scapegoat for any wrongdoings committed by his more callous siblings. What he could have never predicted however, was one such sibling using him as a pawn in a game of politics, with the oft-mistrusted Miomir being wrongfully accused of murdering his elder brother Julius when the first heir was discovered having been brutally stabbed by a weapon similar to the broadsword that Miomir often wielded. Though his family deigned not to execute him for the crime, it was more than enough to exile the young nobleman from the planet he'd always called home, leaving him to the brutality of an outer rim of systems that cared not for one's upbringing or status...

Sadly for the disgraced Canid, his reputation followed him, with many needing only to take one look into those blue orbs to know in their own mind what he truly was. He traveled alone for a time, stopping only to sleep and recover from injuries inflicted in his new profession as a sword-for-hire, his fortunes changing slightly on one fateful day in a backwater Panorpidan settlement, where he almost single-handedly stopped an invading pirate crew from raiding the otherwise unprotected settlement before leaving with nary a word to the astonished townsfolk. This event began to take on a life of it's own, and suddenly Miomir's striking appearance began to serve him as much good as it had harm, with rumors of the "Vampire Prince, the Saviour of Hikawa" circulating throughout the Canid and Panorpidan settlements along the border of the Great Expanse. Miomir found the name ironic, given that he was neither a vampire, a prince, nor a self-proclaimed "saviour", but there was one thing advantageous... Though they might not trust in him, they were beginning to trust in his skills...

Miomir can generally be found roaming the borders of the Great Expanse, seeking out work wherever he may find it. Though he now has coin, he still lacks purpose, and can only hope that one day, he may discover something worth fighting for...
