Lan is a composed, quiet soul. He has found himself in his travels and worship of the many gods, feeling like he truly knows himself. This gives him confidence and the ability to stay calm through everything that comes his way, knowing that it will be alright in the end. He has met and spent time with many people of various backgrounds; able to look at situations from many points of view, as if in their shoes. A man of many cultures so to say, he is strongly the against discrimination of anyone. In his travels he has learned so much from others, and Lan seems to be an endless source of knowledge and wisdom. He holds no grudges against others, believing life is too short to stay angry. The public seem to love him, he's the voice of the people in the castle, even if the rulers are considerate of their people anyway.

He tends to think too much about what other people think of decisions made by the rulers. When asked for advice on a serious matter where no solution can please everybody, he may become indecisive and shut down. In fact, one time war between kingdoms was debated and Lan isolated himself for days, though war never came. He always wants to find the peaceful option even if there isn't one, sometimes wasting time to try and avoid inevitable conflict. His forgiving nature makes him easy to manipulate or be used by others, though it would be hard to convince him to cause trouble amongst the royal ranks. At times he can disappear without warning, much to the king's annoyance. Usually he will be out touring the city or visiting villages nearby, spending time with the average people who live there and enjoying their way of life.
