As the ref says, his leaves and branches/roots do not need to be precisely positioned, nor do the flowers or the exact gnarls of the staff. Just get an eye for the idea of how much, and you're good! You can make his flowers any color or type, or use any sort of plant from carnivorous plants to vines or ivy to roses to berries or anything else! Also keep in mind he changes with season, so take a peek at his seasonal chibi chart and the associated color swatches. Draw whichever season you prefer, or even an in-between!

Skills or Hobbies: Most of his energy is focused on growing plants of all kinds, both within and outside of his body. His skill in plant growing is unmatched. He enjoys going on walks as well as naps and sunbathing – Hell doesn't have a real sun, of course, but its substitute functions well enough. Sometimes he goes to the human world in order to find a clearing far away from humans in order to absorb more energy from a real sun. He likes to read and craft potions as well.
Jobs: Protects the forests in Hell from any who would do them harm. Creates oxygen.
Personality Traits: Tends to be stoic, but can often be placid/peaceful/relaxed when on his own away from other sapient beings. Will do what needs to be done to protect the things he does care about, even if he doesn't like it. Typically pretty neutral or even good. If he found you starving in the woods, he'd grow some berries for you and help you find your way back out, though there wouldn't be very much conversation on his part. But if you're damaging nature for no reason and especially if you're lighting fires, beware...Once he's decided you're a threat, it's attack first ask questions later. He is willing to listen and negotiate on things, though, if you do speak to him before doing anything crazy.
He speaks fairly literally most of the time, and it's assumed that he doesn't understand most jokes very well.
Powers/Abilities:
Nature Magic - Crilo's magics involve his ability to not only store plants within himself but to quickly call upon and grow any of these plants which he chooses either from within himself or in his environment, often to an extreme degree. Outside of combat, he will usually use his magics to increase the health of plant life around him and spread more plants across Hell as he walks. In time, he can grow entire forests. If he must fight, in a matter of seconds he can create things like walls of thorns, tangling vines, or massive carnivorous plants in order to eliminate his enemies.
He can heal any plant life, so long as he has the energy to do so. He also has a limited ability to heal animals and other beings, but it is less effective than it is on plants.
Fighting style: Crilo relies entirely on his magic to fight, as he is physically not strong at all and no faster than a human. He fights only when he must/when nature is facing danger. If he's determined someone or something is absolutely a threat, he will strike first and trap his opponent in vines or thorns. He may also utilize plant-based poisons or spores in order to weaken opponents or put them to sleep.
Weapons and armor: His outfit is a mix of plant material/wood and leather. He carries a wooden staff that helps focus his magical energies. With his magics, he can form tough bark over himself to raise his physical defense.
Other Details: Hell's archmage of nature. At a young age, Crilo began the process to replace most of his demon body with plants, as members of his family have done for tens of thousands of years. After much suffering, the process succeeded – his demon brain is still there, but nearly everything else has been replaced by a plant equivalent that fulfills the normal functions, and what hasn't been entirely replaced has been modified in order to work properly with such a lifestyle. His body contains the material of most of Hell's plants and a large number of Earth's plants as well, and he can use his powers to grow them amazingly quickly and bend them to his will.
The branches that make up his winter 'horns' store natural power he can use in an emergency, and will fall off when Spring arrives. Still, his power is weakest during winter, and he hides away even more than usual and is rarely if ever seen.
The flowers on his body can be any color or variety. His appearance changes with the seasons.
He hates the cold and has a fear of fire.
He is able to breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen, and can survive much longer than a normal person could without food so long as he has water and light.
Crilo owns a black and white cat named Willow.
