Despite the resting bitch face, Jesper is a sweetheart. He's constantly trying to put others' comfort and happiness above his own, and he genuinely wants to be a kind person. He's depressed down deep into his very being though, which tends to prove a bit of a complication while trying to uplift others. He seems to be always brooding and tucked away, and his height only adds to the fact that many find him an intimidating figure.

He works at a convenience store, at a gas station, halfway into the more suburban part of the city, near the edge of the forest. The last stop before your camping trip. He's the manager of the little place, and might have also ended up owning it? He doesn't really want to, though.

Jesper is immortal, and he uses this to his 'advantage'. He's never gone through any proper channels to understand his emotions or how to work through them- so death is the easiest answer. If he's gone for a few days, or a few weeks, he can't feel anything anymore. He wants to break the habit- and his life has been changing for the better to make him do it less, but there's always an itch. He's an insomniac as well, almost always sluggish and tired.

When he lost his parents, he coped by becoming very attached to cats. He takes in any that he can find that need a home, and has turned his entire house into a sort of "cat shelter", which keeps him sane. Having to take care of them is one of the few things that makes him function somewhat like a normal human being when he's not working.

BACKGROUND

CHILDHOOD (cw: car accident)

As a child, Jesper lost his parents. Finch and Joanna were driving him and his brothers somewhere- he doesn't remember. He was sitting by the window, with Ross resting on his arm, asleep. He doesn't know when the car swerved, or when the impact happened. He woke up later in the hospital, with a strange weight on his chest, and a rumbling filling his ears. He wasn't awake long, and doesn't recall most of the hospital stay. He and his brothers were fine. His aunt came down to take care of them until his oldest brother was big enough to take over, then she left again. Jesper's childhood is a blur, until high school.

He is 6'5" and extremely lanky.
Jesper hates shoes so much. He also hates bare feet. This man will do anything to wear only socks, 24/7.
He has over-corrective eyes, so his focus is constantly shifting. He has contacts on 90% of the time to deal with the issue, but he DOES have glasses he wears in private/at home.
Since starting to date Sage, Wilbur, and Dakota, he has gotten really into fashion, and trying to diversify himself past the custom-designed hoodie he normally has.
