Summary

Before her undeath she was a foster care kid born to two teenage Jamaican teens who knew they couldn't raise her. They instead just left her to die in another country when visiting family members in Britain, luckily somebody found her and sent her to the orphanage.  She was never picked to be adopted, however, as most parents didn't want a black kid. This caused her to be often agitated with life in general and have a low self-esteem. She believed nobody liked her so didn't like herself or anybody else for the matter.

The orphanage was hooked together with a military school once she turned eight, changing her life even more. The girls and boys at the orphanage were forced to train like soldiers to make sure the orphans wouldn't be hoodlums once they were let out of the orphanage or adopted. Abigail was persecuted specifically, even if she didn't do anything wrong they'd push her even more then the kids around her and punish her more harshly when she did something wrong.

Her orphanage, which was a large plot of land with lots of trained kids, was infiltrated by the Supernatural Terrorist Group, EWA, came to "recruit" and "take over" the orphanage, she hid in a small janitor's office. She was wounded badly by a bullet to the stomach, but still alive. Probably not for long. But she was "saved" by Seras.

Now she's just some childish young vampire who does not listen to authority figures well and is often rude and broody. However she can also be sweet and manipulative to authority figures she respects. Shortly after her first mission she becomes less rude and much more solemn. She wants to be a kid again and it's slowly becoming much more obvious to the people around her. She just wants to be normal, something that she never got to be and probably never will be.

Once she starts a job in America, however, she meets people like her and people who she really begins to like, making life a little easier.
