Caramel

Background

Caramel was raised in a modern time-period, although by the age of fifteen she inherited her parents lake-house when they both passed away in an accident.  

Soon after inheriting her parent's lake-house a virus was killing people left and right, and everyone soon became desperate for a cure. This caused the government began testing on all-sorts of people in search of a cure, however the government proved unsuccessful and more than fifty percent of the population was wiped out by the virus. 

Countries had fallen and cities left abandoned. What was once her home was now a ghost-town, those that remained were extremely hostile and only cared for themselves. After all, it had been every man for themselves. 

This lead to the formation of several cults which made the cities more dangerous than they were before. They were known for sacrificing people to appease "Auzura" a demon that reigns over chaos. 

She'd seen her closet friends become sacrifices to this demon.
