Etos

The king of the Obelisks, chaotic and gluttonous god, and the ruler of the vast nothing. He goes by many names, but his preferred name is του τέλος του έτους, which was given to him by his old subjects. This name has since been shortened down to just "Etos" by Tollak.

Etos's very existence is a mystery. He was created by an advanced civilization that simply called themselves the Obelisks and was the product of their quest for the answers to the mysteries of the universe and everything in it. His subjects sacrificed everything to create him, offering unto him their very souls in order to sustain him... And for a while, he was satisfied with that. He was their god, and they trusted him.

Eventually, the day came where their sacrifice was no longer enough for him. He hungered for more, and he devoured their entire world. With the Obelisk's plane in ruins, there was nothing left for him there, so he breached their dimension and moved into the empty void beyond. He now resides in the vast emptiness, preying and feasting on other worlds and their inhabitants, leaving a wake of death and destruction in his path.

In the time that he has existed, he has mostly gone unrivaled... Until one day, Tollak showed up. Tollak was the one creature that could not be easily devoured or pushed out of the way, thus marking the beginning of a long and very bitter rivalry between the two.
