Camberis is the only blind Skarrid. He occasionally comes off as a little strange, because he can't directly see people and tends to stare into nothing. He's fairly mellow as a person and tends to not take himself too seriously, instead he would much rather spend his time fucking around like a talking lobster.
Appearance
Camberis looks as if someone stretched him out, fairly thin and lanky in terms of proportion. His skin is a caramel-brown color, and his hair is a yellow peachy color. His hair is worn in dreadlocks of varying sizes and usually tied up in a ponytail. On his head he has two medium-sized red horns, as well as two annenae behind them, the anntenae are conntected to his head and stretch out a bit of skin before they emerge. His ears are pointy and have a few earrings in them, the amount of which varies. His eyes are a milky-white color, with a slightly darker yellow pupil, he has three eyes.
He usually sports a plated tail with six legs folded underneath it. The top of his tail is a dpurple color with a blue gradient towards the bottom, framed by a creamy colored rim. The underside of his tail is a light blue. His tail has three fins at the end, as well as a red cancer symbol poking out from underneath them. Below his ribs he has three pairs of gills.
- He has a blue/purple tongue, His mouth is a normal fleshy color, but a bit more towards the purple side. His blood is a similar color as the inside of his mouth.
- He is usually in his more humanoid form, with human limbs and hands, instead of the pincers and thin legs he otherwise has.
- He very commonly wears beach clothing, or loose fitting shirts. He almost never wears shoes.
- He has a piercing on his tongue, a small silver ball.
- Despite it looking very clunky and heavy, his tail is actually fairly light-weight and flexible.
- His pincer hands have two thumbs which allow for easier object manipulation.
- He can move both pairs of eyes independently from one another, however he rarely does do as he doesn't really have anything to look at.
Personality
Camberis is very patient and easy going. He is fairly lazy in nature, not usually helping when asked to, and strongly preferring to just lay down somewhere and do absolutely nothing for six hours straight. He can be a hard worker if given a little push, but occasionally also just tends to botch what he does, so he can be done with it faster, he especially tends to do this when he's doing something he's not a big fan of. He is very much a people person and an extrovert, though mostly comes of as an introvert as people tend to look at him funny and baby him for his inability to see. He is also not very confrontational and tends to avoid conflict at all costs, if something looks like it's about to go south, Camberis is likely to just walk away.
Trivia
- Despite being blind, his Skarrid magic allows him to see different things. Most noticably his ability to see into the god realm. He can also see people's "auras's", more speficically a certain color their soul is supposed to be, which allows him to identify people and other living beings.
- He has a seeing-eye Doromi, who helps him navigate through the city and also helps him with other day-to-day chores like getting himself dressed and making sure that food won't burn.
- He absolutely hates eating seafood, he just thinks it tastes nasty and is very put off by the smell as well.
- He does his best to live fully on his own, independently from his brother, but sometimes really needs the help of another person.
