TRIVIA

  • Winnifred loves cold places and although she doesn't always disclose her location, rumour has it that she now calls somewhere in Nunavut, Canada her home
  • She's a bit of a petty thief; she tends to steal small and insignificant, yet interesting things that she doesn't really need
  • She would have a tough time being friends with people who have to sleep all day—when the sky's awake, she's awake and she gets frustrated when she sleeps late
  • Despite being a capuchin monkey, she doesn't do well in hot weather because of her dense fur

DESIGN NOTES

  • She is a girl, but please don't draw her with any overtly feminine features (i.e. breasts)—small eyelashes are okay
  • There are three shades of brown on her: a dark shade (the colour at the top of her "hair"), a lighter shade (her main body colour), and a greyish brown on her limbs and tail
  • She is a monkey so her feet have "thumbs" as well as her hands
  • Her mane or "hair" goes halfway down her back and his not loose, growing straight out of her head like human hair; the scruff is attached to her back
  • There is scruff on her cheeks

PERSONALITY

Winnifred, who often just goes by Winnie, is a fulltime bouncy and sociable capuchin monkey and part time thief. A lover of cold weather, she currently resides in northern Canada where she lives in surprising solitude for such a talkative creature. It's not unusual to find her talking to herself or inanimate objects around her. She loves to travel, so her origins are relatively unknown to people who aren't her friends. She has a bit of an accent. On her travels, she often steals small objects like tools, toys, and maybe a few coins here and there. This isn't because she's malicious, but rather her telling herself she's "just borrowing" them when she needs them on her travels even though she never returns anything. Maybe she would if she knew who they belonged to. Needless to say, she's not the most reliable primate in the north. Despite her skewed thieving morals, she loves company and making friends even if they're few and far between. She has a knack for storytelling and a love of relaxing music.
