♦ BIOGRAPHY                                                                                                                                                                                                 

 The second daughter of Lord Wynhart, Laurel is everything that someone could want in a lady. Ever since she was a child, the young woman has been known for both her kind heart and external beauty. Not only has she managed to win over the hearts of even the sternest noblewomen, but she has also befriended those that others would consider beneath her because of their lack of status. Many attribute her good naturedness to her upbringing, but if anything, Laurel is kind despite the way she was raised. Her mother actively worked to create a divide between her and her older half-sister, Kalina, but Laurel instead chose love over hatred. Her father, meanwhile, has been emotionally absent, only acknowledging her in formal situations, such as when it came time to decide on a future partner for her. 

Many suitors vied to win her hand in marriage, including the crown prince of Midia, Tobias, and the man that she has fallen for, Noir.  Her parents immediately pushed her into accepting Tobias' proposal, but Laurel had hesitated because of her growing feelings for Noir. Though she ultimately accepted the prince's offer for the sake of her family and out of fear of Noir's death, she hasn't been able to stop thinking about the latter, even as she has begun preparations for her marriage.

A sweet girl by nature, everyone around her agrees that Laurel is always pleasant. Despite her noble status, she is quite humble and takes time to care for those who are less fortunate than her. That said, she also cares about her family's desires, and so long as they do not compromise her own morals, she remains obedient to their wishes as well. Though some might call her spineless for this, she will not stand aside and let something bad happen without doing everything she can to stop harm from being done.
