Aias

1) The brother (Aias) surrendered because he knew the village didn't stand a chance, so they were all taken away by the enemy forces to be kept as prisoners/slaves/as new combatants for the enemy. Aias originally had a plan to get out in case this happened, but he is brainwashed and loses memories of the plan. This would be the first time in his life he cannot rely on his knowledge/memory alone to win battles, but somehow retains muscle memory for combat/is trained by the enemy in combat (he would be built as a dex fighter, as opposed to Tuesday who is a strength fighter). Tuesday finds the signed surrender document pinned to a table in the town hall and tries to go and save his tribe, while Aias, too, tries to fight to remember who and where he is from the other side.

2) Aias fights the battle and wins, but lets much of the army die in the process. This leaves Tuesday, Aias and their mother as the only remaining members of the Rajendra family, with Tuesday getting angry at Aias for letting their father and sisters die. Aias insists that their sacrifices were necessary, and that having Tuesday present will not have changed the course of battle at all, if not making it worse due to his recklessness. Aias continues to rule over the village but becomes increasingly controlling and oppressive, with his tendency to act in self-interest/narcissism beginning to show itself more than ever: he presents himself as divine, like an emperor who believes he can communicate directly with god. While Tuesday is not nearly as smart as his brother, he cares much more for the people of the village and sees right through his brother's wickedness. He, with the help and support of other village people, tries to overthrow his brother, but it proves to be incredibly difficult as Aias technically has control over the military.
