Lieve Groenwege (Trajectum Tenebris (VtM LARP))

The version of Lieve that is currently active within the Katharsis LARP setting, domain Utrecht. Since September 2021 I've been attending court gatherings monthly, so there's... a loooot of plot here, and a lot of secrets that I sadly cannot all lay out. Maybe if she retires someday I can share her summary- which currently counts about a massive 120 pages (as of March 2024).

Going off Lieve's story in Discord by Night, Lieve's unlife takes a turn for the worse when Oakley needs to handle some... business, leaving a freshly embraced Lieve alone in the midst of a global pandemic. Due to... the questionable circumstances of her embrace, she is kept hidden and isolated for two years until she's coaxed back out.

Eventually, with the encouragement of her grandsire Elanor Cambridge, decides to seek her fortunes in Utrecht. Her sire won't come get her as his circumstances are too dire, so it is up to Lieve to secure him a future in this country instead.

As it tends to go, Lieve tells some lies about her embrace, her status, and much more. She's caught, she's pushed down the stairs of society to be educated under the Brujah sheriff and told to stay put in the domain. Lieve has a lot to figure out about herself and this new existance, but thank fuck there's those willing to guide her <3

Though she's relatively doing quite well, the ghosts of her past come back to haunt her with a vengeance and existance in an active domain comes with it's own challenges. Night by night is a struggle of composure, purpose, love, and identity that Lieve has to navigate while her troubled relationship with her sire and traumatising solitary isolation kick her butt.

Up till now she's faced; transporting a Malkavian artifact that fucked her head and immediately having to meet the Prince for the first time after, a gathering of coked up mages, encounters with uh... something WAY out of her league who does not seem too fond of this little parasite, betrayal of trust by someone she cared for deeply 'for the greater good', questionable relationships with other kindred's ghouls (one of which almost ending in a pool of blood), the existencial threat of an awakening Methusulah Tzimisce needing to be forced to torpor again, a harrowing maffia wipe-out operation that turned to carnage, a masquerade breach she accidentally committed with google FUCKING translate that cost lives, the consequent punishment from the Prince, the senseless murder of a ghoul she befriended in Bremen and the ripple effect it had on her, starting to lose her faith in her relationship with Oakley and losing touch with some confictions to manage the beast, maybe accidentally contributing to the massive destabalization of her domain and her clan losing all court positions it held, her first freak out culminating into her attacking and biting her clan leader, the Prince dominating her to beat her boyfriend into torpor as some sort of sick lesson, and therapy from all sides to get her semi-functioning again. It's a ride and I can't wait to see what happens next!
