Shadeyenova (apatite (familiar))

when a young Shade found himself utterly alone following the death of his father, Apatite seemed to materialize out of the blue. A tiny expressive creature that tends to reveal (and exaggerate) Shade's true feelings- it's not quite its own individual, but rather a manifestation of Shade's subconsciousness. It acts on impulse, and enjoys mocking its larger companion. It seems to appear and disappear as it pleases- Shade himself isn't quite sure how to summon it, or make it go away. He enjoys its presence though, and finds amusement in its company.

"Apatite" - a name with two meanings; Shade's favorite gemstone, and the small creature seems to enjoy food just as much as he does.
other affectionate names he tends to call it include; "Apa", "spark", "blue", "squeaks", and "little guy".
