The first Chimera created by Calcatrix, he was a project gone wrong. With no idea what they were dealing with, they did all sorts of inhumane experiments on him until he eventually METEM broke in and freed him, letting him live a more normal life. Mostly inhuman and very vindictive, Mendel is pretty peaceful until wronged.
