Quirk

Solar Heat【太陽熱】

Type • Emitter

Hibio's quirk gives him the ability to transform the solar energy his body absorbs (through his halo and solar plates) into pure heat energy, which he can generate and release in the form of hot air, steam, and heat blasts.

Moves

Heat Blast

Strength:
user can launch heat waves over a specific target area, causing damage and/or delivering shock waves of pure force.

Solar Grenade

Strength:
user can create and launch bombs and explosives composed of heat, which can have various effects on the target.

Hot steam

Strength:
by evaporating liquids either from body or an outside source, user can generate and launch clouds of hot steam that causes temporary vision impairment to the target and possible burns. Using the body's fluids for this move raises the risks of severe dehydration if overdone.

SunBurst

Strength:
user can levitate and/or propel oneself with the hot air without taking flight, including enhanced jumping by a short burst of flight.

Strengths

  • The ability to increase and/or decrease the heat temperature at well, ranging from mild to scorching heat. Endurance and stamina training is required to achieve extreme degrees.
  • The ability to launch attacks at both a a wide and short range, making it useful for defence and offense purposes.

Weaknesses

  • Overuse will gradually cause the body to lose its natural resistance to the quirk and user will begin to experience damage from the extreme heat temperatures.
  • Limited energy supply during nighttime due to the absence of solar energy, which makes the quirk inconveniently weaker and limiting. Overuse in this state could result in extreme fatigue and exhaustion if not used mindfully.

Equipment

Jumpsuit

Hibio's jumpsuit is made of heat-resistant fiber that prevents it from getting damaged by heat. The tight body suit he wears under it has a built-in device that senses his body temperature and regulate it.

Shoes
His shoe soles have holes that allows him to shoot hot hair from his feet to use for flight and propel.
Solar Cells
built into his jumpsuit, these solar cells were designed to absorb the energy of light and deliver it directly to Hibio's body, wich in turn is converted into heat. They help aid him with the amount of solar energy needed for demanding attacks, as well as to store enough energy to use during nighttime. The solar plates are also installed strategically to function as protection gear for some parts of the body.

About
39357345_EwZiME4eAgdBkEa.png

Hibio is an incredibly independent young man, and often prefers to rely on himself. Self-reliance being a driving characteristic of his, he has a strong desire to go out in the world and to make it on his own, without needing to rely on the charity or favors of other people. Sometimes this quality hinders him, however, to the point where he has a difficult time asking for help in the times where he needs it most. He prefers to form his own thoughts and opinions on things, and keep an open mind and determine all the information he needs before making a judgement based on other people's’ thoughts. Hibio doesn’t like to judge a book by its cover, and prefers to remain unbiased and unprejudiced when delving into new experiences and meeting new people.

As a fast learner, Hibio is able to understand new ideas and concepts quite easily. His interests are diverse, and he’s always on the hunt for new ideas and new ways of thinking. However, just like everyone else, Hibio is far from perfect, and is prone to making the odd mistake here and there when it comes to making important decisions. But unlike some, one think he won’t allow himself to do is to make the same foolish mistake over and over again. Although he has a bad habit of overthinking things far more than he should, which is one of his most negative qualities. He tends to overthink the simplest things, and finds himself very stressed and anxious due to his overanalyzing. Later, he’ll often realize that it wasn’t nearly as big a deal as he was worrying it to be.

He’s a terrible liar. Making up and selling a convincing lie with ease is definitely not a skill Hibio has mastered. As a result, when he finds himself in a situation where he’s unable to tell the truth, he often prefers to keep his mouth shut and say nothing at all.

Hibio has an angry side that often surprises people. It usually takes a lot for him to truly lose his composure, but if someone or something manages to push his patience to his limit, he will blow up, holding nothing back. Unfortunately, this also leads him to a lousy habit of bottling things up until he hits his boiling point and explodes out of frustration. One of the many things that Hibio absolutely cannot stand is people with inflated egos and overbearing personalities. Regardless of his own confidence, he’s far from being a show off and never brags, trying to stay humble. If someone is all up in his face, flaunting themselves and harping on in a conceited way, Hibio is unlikely to actually listen to what they are saying, completely unimpressed by that kind of behavior. Times like these are when he may also unconsciously turn to sarcasm, the words coming so naturally that he doesn’t even realize he’s doing it half the time. Only those who are closest to him and who understand his twisted sense of humor appreciate his words at times like these.

He has a bit of a rebellious side that despises being told what to do or how to think. This side of him comes out most strongly when people try to force their will upon him, demanding that he change the way he thinks or acts to fit their expectations. His fierce independence drives him to distance himself from anyone who thinks that they have control over his life.

People frequently misunderstand Hibio, and he feels that people don’t quite “get” him. He can be a little eccentric, and his way of showing he cares can be a little unconventional, but he still truly cares about the people in his life nonetheless, even if the way he goes about expressing that is a little different.

He can be quite emotional, but often won’t be obvious about it. When his emotions run high, Hibio often distances himself from everyone, and takes the time away to deal with things in his own way. He can get irritated if people pry and try to get him to talk about things when he doesn’t want to talk, or isn’t ready to talk, and prefers to be given space so he can process things and collect his thoughts.

Despite being friendly and social and polite, Hibio is very careful about who he befriends and allows into his life. He’s very selective about who he welcomes into his “inner circle,” and only considers a select few to be his close friends, preferring quality over quantity. Hibio hates to see his friends down or sad, and he’s always there for them when they need somebody to talk to or vent to. Not only is he a very good listener, but he’s full of honest and useful advice. He always tries to provide the support his friends need, even if there isn’t much he can do about their troubles. While he is always willing to listen to what everyone has to say, he’s also not afraid to contradict them in voicing his own opinions. He puts a lot of thought into the things that he believes, and isn’t afraid to defend his ideals and notions.

He very much embraces change, and can often be quite unpredictable. Finding routines to be dull and repetitive, he hates the idea of doing the same thing every day, and prefers to live his life more spontaneously and with a sense of adventure. He likes to keep a positive mindset as much as possible, and therefore instinctively looks for the best in people. When someone close to him screws up, he’d sooner forgive them and give them a second chance, rather than holding onto negative energy. On the down side, however, he can sometimes be so willing to forgive that he gives people second or third chances that they don’t necessarily deserve.

kuí AsaamaMother
Being the youngest, Hibio received so much love and attention from everyone and especially his mother. She spoils him the most and calls him so often when she's away to check on him and Hinata, mostly because of the lingering guilt she feels for always being busy with work and not having enough time for her family. He takes it upon himself to make her stop feeling and thinking that way by calling her just as often and always texting her random things to get her to laugh and feel assured. They have quite a friendly relationship.

Ataru AsaamaFather
Unlike with Hinata's case, Ataru was present in Hibio's life from the day he was born and did everything in his power to be there for the both of them while their mother worked hard to provide for the family. Quitting the hero life and switching to a home job made it possible for Ataru to care and spend more time with both Hibio and his sister, which made their bond grow stronger and closer. Hibio is especially fascinated with his father because of his past hero life and never gets enough of his stories and connections with other heroes. He never hesitates to approach him for help or advice whenever he needs it.

Hinata InoueSibling
His idol, his biggest inspiration, and his number one hero! Yet he's too shy to show his admiration to her. Even though he was super clingy and glued to her when they were little kids, he grew out of it and gets embarrassed whenever he's reminded of those times. Despite how he greatly respects and looks up to Hinata, they have a pretty close and chill bond together. They rarely argue and even when they do it's over the stupidest reasons. Most of the time they're either sharing memes, spilling the tea to each other and they love it, or teasing their father because he falls for it everytime.

Akiko KinoshitaFriend to Lover
It started with them becoming neighbors when Hibio's family settled in Japan, but they didn't become friends until they started attending the same kindergarten. Their childhood friendship continued all the way to middle school, until romantic feeling started to bloom between the two. It took a lot of silly misunderstandings and awkward miscommunication between them to figure out their mutual feelings for each other and properly address them. They officially started dating around high-school. Hibio and Akiko share a lot in common in the things they like, they're both into the retro vibes, they LOVE dogs, and they share the same ridiculous sense of humor. He enjoys her company a lot and is always having a blast when they hang out together, which is why she was the closest friend he had until she became more than that to him. he's also head over heels for her Shiba dog Bean.

Yuu HaseBest friend
Yuu and Hibio started their friendship in kindergarten as well and continued being good friends till high-school. Hibio was a ball of energy when he was a kid and couldn't stand when he saw Yuu sitting in his corner everyday buried in books and not playing with anyone so he kept dragging him everyday to join him and akiko to play, and ever since these three stuck together like glue. Hibio really admires Yuu for how supportive and loving of a friend he is and values their friendship a ton. He loves to watch crime documentaries and movies with Yuu because of their mutual interest in them, he also enjoys having deep yet meaningless conversations together. Also, Hibio is secretly jealous of Yuu's height.

Yawara MoraFriendly Rivalry
Hibio and Yawara first met in middle school, Yawara's attitude and vibes did not leave a good impression on him and her endlessly teasing him for it didn't help her case at all. Yawara came off as over-confident and even arrogant to hibio at first, and her habit of constantly teasing him for his height and basically everything made it even more difficult for these two to get along. Every encounter they had with each other ends with them arguing, that is until it was revealed that both were planning to take the pro hero route after graduating middle school, and from there it turned into rivalry. They eventually got to know each other more throughout the school years and grew friendlier towards each other. Although They ended up attending different hero schools, they kept in touch and their friendly rivalry continued through to high school. In conclusion, they just want to impress each other and they actually fully enjoy the rivalry going on between them.
