Dark Air Elemental Mage / Early 20's / 24
Usually Air Elementals are inclined to light magic just as fire mages tend towards dark magic, shadow mages tend towards death/blood magic, earth mages tend towards life/runic magic and water mages tend towards ritual/weather magic. Zephyra's parents was a fire mage and an air mage, a strange combination. Usually she would have been inclined to use light magic (light magic could be easier and more powerful to her) however she wields dark magic (and lots of it!)
Unfortunately the elemental public was not happy with this union and assasins were sent to kill her family. When she was tested for magic, she showed no signs (dark magic usually manifests itself at 3 months) as her magic developed at 9 months. Her magic was very mature however and easy to control, but by that time, the orphaned youngling had been given to the organization by one of the assasins. The assasin's rationale was that she too had a kid and didn't want to spill blood that wasn't needed. The order was to kill all ELEMENTALS on the property and as her element hadn't manifested in her yet, she was just a human child.
Zephyra holds no hate towards that particular assasin but has vowed vengence on the others responsible.

Currently she's off studying under a master necromancer as an apprentice. She has no plans as to what she will do after her apprenticeship is done but she's only recently turned 110 (around 22 human years) so she's still got plenty of time!

The embodiments of human nature are not human. They look like humans, they feel emotions like humans and yes, they hurt like humans. You can kill them, and they will return, utterly battered and irreversably damaged but strong. So very strong because as long as there is still one person who has the qualities and believes in the qualities they embody, they cannot truly leave us. They can be absorbed by other embodiments, if their traits are considered to be no longer 'relevant' and yet their legacy will live on through generations of people. They will be here to see the end of the world, to embrace their children and to comfort them. They will be here to protect, and to guide and to hold all the pain, suffering and hurt in this world. They will be here to love and to hate, to forgive but never forget. They will be here to soothe and support, and they will be here to tell us 'never give up'. They are our guardians. They are us.
