Max (M4X)

Max was created in a lab, deep in southern Florida. She was the a step in a series of biological experiments, attempting to hybridize strains of dinosaur dna. The process forces certain, desired traits to dominant others. Unfortunately, during the fusion, human dna contaminated the holding pen, resulting in her being labeled technically as a failure. Though the goal was not reached, the lab still found her to be a curiosity and kept her around for her inquisitive nature and uncanny ability to comfortably change and maintain human and theropod postures, though they didn't quite understand the extent of her intelligence. She began watching and listening to the scientists that passed by or came into her cell, learning how to speak, read, and eventually break out.

She escaped and is now trying to learn and live comfortably. 

Personality: Because of her nature, she has a high prey drive and is quick to become frustrated. Since escaping, she has done well to curb them to blend in better with society. She's highly inquisitive and loves to find solutions to problems. However, she gets frustrated quickly if she is unable to figure out an answer. Typically very relaxed

Biology: Primarily resembles a Utahraptor, but because of her hybridization, she has some Baryonyx traits such as being an adept hunter on land and in the water. In the water, she typically runs along the bottom much like a hippo, using her feathers as paddles to propel her up or down.  The bump on her snout allows for her nostrils to remain above water while the rest of her is submerged. Her body is countershaded and her belly is scaled. Teeth are a weird mix of conical with the backside being serrated. Face lacks feathers, being mostly skin/scales. Feathers are hydrophobic. 

The feather that droops forward is actually broken, but she refuses to pull it or regrow it. If/when it falls out, she will probably break it again intentionally.
