She wanted to be like most demons since her first days of creation. She wanted to be absolute evil. But if she attempted to prove herself to her parents, she is always very discouraged by them. She loved coming up with evil plans, and her ways of torture made her the most hated in all circles of Hell. She doesn't like pretty scenery or pink things in general, declaring them totally disgusting, but still she wondered what life was like outside of Hell.
Years come to pass and something becomes apparent to those around her. She is not inherently unethical, however. She is led astray. Her "mean girl" persona is just an act because she doesn't want to be seen as vulnerable in her family's eyes; being cruel is the only way they value her, who never cared for Jade at all. Karma is the only one who was able to see and know her for who she was, a decent being.
As she gets older, Jade let go of all of her worries and ambitions, getting in tune with her real self; and she leaves the empty world of evil for a happier one. Jade ended up replacing the void in her heart with affection and devotion that could not be filled by what her family had led her to believe.
