'Marion, or Mari for short.
Mari was quite chubby, but she doesn't care, as she loves eating. Often you would find her laying around, snacking on something. She and Sorrel claims that there is an elderly male who often takes walks through the forest, didn't see creatures who lived in it weird, but instead gave food, other items such as blankets.
Backstory;
Mari used to be in a large group of family, but an earthquake soon hit. Quickly her mother gave her a bell on a farbic, tied it around her neck and told her 'I will find you, just ring the bell when this is over.' before running off to save many others in the forest. Mari aspired to be her, tried to go to a different direction to try to find someone to save. She ended up being lost, decided to take shelter until the earthquake subsided. When it did, she rang the bell over and over whole night but nobody came, not even her mother.
In end she didn't cry over it, after all her mother might have died heroically. Her family probably got lost during earthquake as well. Her mother did say; 'One day, a time will come for you when you have to learn to survive on your own.' She probably meant right now. So she explored the new forest, bumping into a canary and deer mix creature, who called herself Sorrel, who said this forest is called Hibuki Forest. The goatdog was sure it's at least few miles away from home, it might have been tragically destoryed by the earthquake so she accepted Sorrel's offer to stay.'
