Philia Draugr (Philia)

Personality

Philia is the sweetest undead shark you've ever met. While her appearance is a bit scary, her enthusiasm is infectious, and thus Philia tends to earn the trust of those around her. She acts and looks like a young girl and yet, Philia's just as tough as she looks. She's as eager to dish out a fight as she is to comfort a friend in need.

While peaceful, Philia loves the art of making bladed weapons. She's set up her own workshop for making swords, axes and all sorts of martial weapons, and she often picks new weapons to study and learn how to make.She's a very practical crafter in general, making what she needs from bone or the materials around her.

Since Philia has to know how to sew herself up anyway, she also uses those skills to make plush dolls! ...Of her friends. The dolls are a little terrifying to be honest. Philia's tastes can be a little creepy sometimes, but its endearing.

Backstory

Philia is one of the oldest of Creator's creations, (which means she's at most a few weeks older than most), but she's hardly the strongest. However, Philia was irreplacable because of her sweetness and charm. She lived in her Creator's pocket mirror world with the rest of the denizens, until Creator disappeared and the pocket world destablized. She was then forced to escape into reality.

Now Philia lives just outside of a quaint village, near a forest and lakeside. She's made a lot of friends, and has been part of this village community for a couple generations. As such, they keep Philia a secret from any cryptid hunters, and she's free to keep living quietly in her cabin, living off the land, and weaponsmithing as a hobby.

Abilities

Shark Jaw:

Under her clothes, Philia has skeletal shark jaw in her chest. Philia can often be seen pulling items out of her “shirt”, as the jaw connects her to a personal pocket space.

Eldritch Shark Form:

Philia can morph into an almost skeletal shark with multiple mouths along its torso. The jaw on her chest becomes the shark form's main mouth, still functioning as a pocket space if needed. The shark form isn't soley aquatic but... it's pretty useless on land.

Bone Manipulation:

Philia can grow bone from her skeleton and control the shape of these growths. She uses this to create bone blades from her arms or shoot bits of bone form her fingertips. She also use this ability kind of like a 3-D printer, creating weapons, cups, screws or whatever else she might find useufl. She's capable of this, as long as she has the energy.

Philia does need to pierce her skin to use this ability, hence the multiple stiched slits around her body. It's easier to leave incisions in her body that allow access to the skeleton than tearing through her skin everytime.

Pain numbness:

The more damaged Philia becomes, the less she's able to feel pain. It's useful if she needs to continously grow large structures from her skeleton, but being badly damaged makes her especially uncoordinated. This can make it difficult to piece herself back together.

Undead limbs:

Philia can still talk and see with her head, should it be unnattached for some reason. Her body can keep moving remotely as long as her limbs stay attached to her torso. Unattached limbs won't deteriorate right away, but they can get lost if misplaced. Body parts are easily reattached with some sewing and regeneration.

Regeneration and Lifespan:

Philia can of course regenerate her bones, but she also has the innate ability to regenerate and replace any other part of her body. She's able to grow back a limb she's lost or heal herself after she's pierced her own skin. However, Philia cannot fully heal the slit around her neck and under her eye.

Unlike her other eldritch friends, Philia's regeneration (of anything besides bone) can be quite slow. It's faster to re-attach a limb then grow it back. Often times, even if she doesn't leave the stitches in place, its beneficial to reattach lost body parts with stiches at the pace she heals. With significant enough impairement, pain and lack of energy, this regeneration can be brought to abyssmal speeds.

Like the other Denizens that share her Creator, Philia seems to benefit from an unsually long lifespan, having the appearance of a young girl for over 60 years.

"Philia sure has a lot of abilities that sort of work together, huh? Her schema is a little cobbled together, being both aquatic and undead, but that's because she was a bit of a guniea pig for later organic denizens to be created. Even with all these powers piled up, Philia lacks the speed and range of control to be classified as a higher rank Denizen."

"In the mirror world, the mouth on her chest also had another purpose. The jaw's bite has the ability to steal supernatural abilities and store them inside Philia impermanently. Because Philia was granted this 'ability', she is the only remaining 'Mirror Eater' left that Creator created. ...She might still have this ability in reality. There's just been no one to use it on."

Scipio's Remarks:

"Philia's a master of arms. She keeps weapons she's pre-made sitting in her pocket-jaw and pulls them out when needed. Her weapons of choice are scythes, axes, hammers and whips, all made of her own bone, but I assure you, toss her a random weapon and she can wield it."
