The turn coater is an old orc, one of the first orcs in the world who subsequently are deeply in tune with their original fae nature. They are renowned as cryptids, gods, and spirits with in orcish lore due to their almost otherworldly abilities but at the end of the day they aren't much different then the orcs of the common era. Although immortal and with out a society to tie their hands together, they often walk on the fringes of all orcish tribes as living motifs who are either revered or feared by the common orc. Still, in personality and appearance they are very much mortal.
The Turn Coater (as his name literally translates to) is known as the world walker, shaper shifter, smuggler and changer.
He is known to be an orcish creature with a fluffy exotic mane, glowing sapphire and citrine eyes, and skin kissed by the stars. But, this form is only seen by similar traitors and wanderers-the orcs who abandon their tribes. To the average orc he is a normal orc of extremely short stature wearing a fluffy coat made of an exotic pelt.
The Turn Coater is known to smell like ash, blood, and fire and is often recognized as glowing eyes peering from the forest. Otherwise he is a shape shifter and trickster, he can become what ever he wishes and uses his magic fluidly-something that in old myths was looked at with envy but now and days is feared after the great orchish elvish wars. He used to be a symbol well loved but now he is pushed to the fringes of small orc tribes and is more of a wanderer then ever before.
Still, he is a symbol of maturation and legend has it that all orcs for their coming of age ceremony meet him in the woods to kill their child like innocence by sharing a meal of roasted hen and wearing his coat. Some mothers fear the day their child turns into a man and others are too eager for it, often pushing their child to become an adult before they are ready and thus accidentally pushing them out of the clan into The Turn Coater's clutches forever. It is known that The Turn Coater only keeps those who aren't certain of their fate however that "fact" is a tampered version of the truth. The Turn Coater is a shaper and molder of the world, he helps orcs meet their fate but he never forces them into it. He helps them find themselves by showing them the paths they could walk away from the influence of their clan and often looks with sadness as the children he meets chooses the violent ways of orcish tradition instead of the warm paths of the road. He wishes everyone would abandon their tribe and become nomadic but he is simply a wandering vagrant, not one to tell others what to do.
