Disappointment. That word aptly sums up your whole life, really. Being  pressured into a life of monotony, living each day the same way...  that's not your style. Your father did his best to provide for you and  raise you to be a headstrong, disciplined individual, but somewhere  along the lines you slipped. You just can't live like that. How can  anyone? And so you lived for the moment, bad decision following bad  decision, the immediate gratification sustaining your desire for  interaction, as brief as it is. But the disappointment always followed.  You picked up smoking and drinking, shrinking away from the judgemental  eyes of your father. You get it, you don't need that kind of thing in  your life. But your sister, Arabella, the look in her eyes is something  else entirely. She cares deeply for you, and you can only imagine how  much it hurts her to see you degrade to this level. If there was  anything in the world that might change the way you behave, it would be  for her sake... There is but one opportunity in front of you. Applying  for a Gameshow is not something ordinary people consider, but the  thought struck you that, if you were to win just one, all your problems  would go away. How satisfying would that be? To make something of  yourself through adversity, and earn back the respect you had lost was  too much of a temptation. You were so confident... it seemed like a good  idea at the time.
