Twitter

Abandoned as a child by a family they don't remember, Twitter was found cold and hungry in the wilderness by a group of monks on pilgrimage. The monks took them in, fed them and cared for them, and realizing they had nowhere to go, took them along on their journey.

It would turn out that these monks are part of a group scattered across the land that practice an ideology and style of martial arts that is all about flow and change. Unlike most monks, they don't hardly stay at monasteries or temples or schools, outside of the massive temple where these were travelling to. Every 8 years, the monks have a huge meeting of minds and feast and celebration, where they spend time with others of the order for a whole month.

This is where the group was heading, and it would take almost 2 more years for them to reach their destination, as the ceremonies were just beginning. After living and training alongside the monks for this time, they decided Twitter was worthy of their knowledge and order, and initiated them at age 8, one of the youngest initiates in history. They would travel and train alongside that same group for years, until coming back for the next meeting at age 16, now arriving a full monk having made the full trek on their own.

At age 18, they'd learned all they could from their little travelling found family, and went off to found their own group, and begin their journey as an adult monk of the order.

Recently, Twitter has been having strange dreams, and worries about what they mean. Dreams of death, of catastrophes. There is 4 years until the next gathering of minds, and they hope to in that time search for answers and bring them to their monastic order to discuss.
