Summary: Alex used to be a golden child in his hometown, getting praised and seen as the cool kid til his monster genes started to get haywire and got him (and his friend Berde) sent to monster island, where he is humbled and learns more about himself.

Childhood: With a father who was renowned as a genius scientist while he was alive, Alex is considered his magnum opus; a human child who was born from an infertile woman's egg spliced with monster genes to help her become fertile. While Alex is grateful for being born thanks to his father, he has little to no good opinions about his father since he was barely in his life as a child and mostly stuck to his mother. As a child, he wasn't really different from the others other his oddly fast recovery when it comes to bumps, scrapes, and broken bones (hmm~~) but due to his his father's legacy, a lot of expectations were already placed on him at an early start, already setting him up on a road of fake smiles, arrogance, and cynicism while pretending to be a golden oy that'll head to college and have a white picket fence dream. Growing up, he befriended Berde, a next door neighbor and daughter of one of his mom's friends. While everyone coddled and held Alex on a pedestal, Alex feels he could be real around her, showing his true nasty selfish bastard personality when its just them two and entrusted her with everything, even if he feels her exerpiments on wanting to figure out how monsters work kind of eek him out.

Young Adulthood:

around 18, he still stayed home with his mother helping out at her shop with no current plans of college or even taking up professional baseball, (nor feels like it since his paternal uncle has a deal for him once he moves out) and has gotten used to the cushy life he has already despite getting bored of it. Berde was about to move in a week and the both agreed on doing one last exxperiment together as a sending off celebration with ended in disaster, triggering Alex's hidden monster tendencies and caused him to lash out in the city (thankfully, no one was really hurt since Alex took it out mostly on buildings). after getting kicked out and sent off to the monster island on his own since he is an adult, He had to learn the hard way that monsters weren't going to put up with his shit. Despite this, he remained adamant to stay the way he is til his eye catches a glimpse of a certain sad dad. Wanting to ask him out, he decided to apply for the job Yuri had, which was a community service agency as a trashman and feral monster handler. Despite having takend on the job for selfish and lust filled reasons, he soon starts to humble down and grow into a more mature person
