CHANG: From Chinese 畅 (chàng) meaning "smooth, free, unrestrained"
HAO: From Chinese 豪 (háo) meaning "brave, heroic, chivalrous".
LING: From Chinese 灵 (líng) meaning "spirit, soul",
I'm dont actually speak chinese (so hopefully this is right) but i wanted this husbandos name to represent a man with 'a free, heroic spirit.' Changhao is an ex samurai turned Ronin after he was betrayed by his own feudal lord long in the past. He now spends his time wandering the land, saving people, being a badass and all around good guy that leaves people whispering his name and spreading the legacy of his endless heroic journey to other travellers who deign to hear it. Battling rogues, destroying monsters, saving damsels, you name it this guys probably done it.
