Call him a thief, call him a liar and a stealer and a pirate, and Felix will probably just grin and thank you for the compliment. He's been a runaway almost as long as he can remember, from the day he stole a ship (technically speaking, it was a raft, but ship sounds a lot better when you're trying to impress people) for literally no reason other than he wanted to become a pirate. The cat had grown up loving the stories of adventure and danger at sea he'd always been told, and one day he came to an important conclusion - if he liked these pirate stories so much, why didn't he just become a pirate?

 It was so brilliant and Felix loved sailing the high seas of the world and exploring every corner he could. He soon adopted an eyepatch, though his eye is still fine and if you're careful and quiet you might see him without it some day or another. There's a red X over that eye, but it's actually drawn on with permanent marker. That and the eyepatch are both there for the effect - they make Felix look really, really cool.

He has a whole collection of sparkly things he's... gathered over the years, from gems and gold to neat rocks and paper clips. All of it is treasure to him, even the less valuable things. You might call him a magpie - his collection would certainly rival that of the most devoted bird.

Felix is of the opinion that he's completely perfect, even though he knows he isn't, and he'd love it if the whole world knew that. He often spins tall tales of his heists. Unfortunately, he's a terrible liar, and it's very easy to see right through his stories (and also easy to tell when he's stolen something).

His best friend is Theodore - the two met one time by chance. Felix was trying to steal something and Theodore was in the way, so he did what any sensible person would do - he brought Theodore along. Theodore returned home a short while after the fiasco, but Felix always comes by to bug Theo about helping him out with another heist. Theo hates it, but he worries about his friend, and often comes along just to keep the pirate cat out of trouble.
