Many Etharians dream of moving to the beautiful Whitelight Shores, where celebrities flourish and where the wealthy come out to play- yet Lumira could care less, even though there was where she was born and raised. Frankly, the girl couldn't care less about anything, desiring to stay indoors no matter the weather or occasion, much to her parent's dismay. Her family, wealthy and all about flaunting it, all but had to drag her to social outings, the girl finding the nearest storage closet at the country clubs or hiding in the bedrooms of the yacht. Family friends joked loudly about how Lumira was nothing like her more sociable and extroverted parents, which secretly bothered the two, but neither of them could persuade the child to make more of an effort to make her presence known. When she became old enough to enroll in private school, getting her to go was like pulling teeth, the teachers having to drag her out of the restrooms and beg her to participate in class. After much deliberation during parent-teacher conferences, she was pulled from school to be home taught, which Lumira seemed more receptive to. And homeschooled she was, right up until high school when she was ultimately forced to attend private school once more, though this time there was no begging and pleading on the teacher's part. Though Lumira hated every second of being seen by anyone, she tolerated it to the best of her ability- through at lunchtime she still found her way to the janitor's closet, eating her meals in there before the next class.

After school, Lumira went back to stowing away in her room, spending most of her time PC gaming and socializing on the internet. She found that talking to others behind a screen was much easier in person, and after a chance encounter, online was where she found love. Enter Jorunna, a young woman with an almost similar issue to hers- just reversed. While Lumira wanted nothing more than to have a reason to hide from the world, Jorunna begged to see it, her helicopter family barring her from living the life she had always dreamed of. The two connected deeply over their situations and their dreams of the future, falling for the other and pursuing a relationship. It wasn't until after graduation that the two met, Jorunna's family becoming so overbearing that the two planned her escape, both of them fleeing to Azmarin and settling into an affordable apartment. At present, Jorunna works at her dream job, while Lumira sticks to home, doing more of the chores and making sure that Jorunna's parents get their daily morning and evening calls from their daughter. Lumira's parents, however, are just happy that Lumira finally goes outside.
