Profile

Everything that begins must have an end.

Celestine Sanguine is the God of death, with their role being to end the existence of any living being when the time comes. They are one of the only beings with the ability to erase other gods from existence, although they generally have no intention of doing so.

Quiet, reserved and jittery, Celestine's existence is a pitiful one. They fear their own power, they are distressed by their own purpose, they are constently plagued by night terrors and a creeping paranoia that seems to be ever present. They are the most powerful of the pantheon, and this knowledge terrifies them to the core, as well as knowing that should they lose control of their power they could erase everything in existence but themself. They can never die permanently- they've tried- they are caught in a constant cycle of rebirth.

Of course, a God of death has the ability to bring those back, for the right price.

At 6'2", Celestine is an imposing figure, long and willowy and thin, with platinum blonde hair and periwinkle skin. Two pairs of small wings grow from their head, as well as a larger pair on their back. They have two pairs of eyes on their face, and another on the backs of their hands. They are covered in scars. They have a flat chest and only slight curves. Their eyes are sunken, with dark circles underneath, and a hollow face. Their nose is pronounced, and their lips are full, often dry/cracked and plone to bleeding. They tend to dress themself to be covered fully with the exception of their face, hair and fingers. As a God they have no ethnicity per se, but they can be considered to be Egyptian, appearing so in their human form.

They have a warm relationship with Misericordia, mostly physically affectionate. Misericordia's presense soothes Celestine to some degree.

They are always at odds with Congeria, believing them to be unpleasant. Congeria doesn't much care for them either, considering them to be a self-righteous hypocrite.

They admire Pleiades, thinking her to be very elegant and beautiful.
