A mysterious grey and pink cloud of an otherworldly substance that feels almost like velvet to touch, it is actually a living creature. The cloud is capable of changing forms, often appearing as either a young man no older than twenty, or a kitsune whose tails and paws almost constantly drip with an odd pinkish liquid that smells strongly of roses. The liquid, according to testing, seems to be the same matter as the gas the cloud is made of, but in a liquidized form. The substance has rather strange behaviour. It is highly corrosive, causing any metals within ten feet of the creature to begin to rust, and instantly rust if directly touched by the substance in either liquid or gas form. When in contact, humans and fauna are negatively affected. Simply being within ten feet of the creature causes headaches, nausea, pain, weakness, dizziness, heart palpitations, and, in more extreme cases, nose bleeds, brain aneurysms, strokes, and heart attacks. When directly in contact with the gooey substance, subjects, both dead and alive, begin to rapidly decay. According to testing, within ten minutes of constant contact with the substance, an entire human corpse (which died of natural causes) had been reduced to nothing but a pile of dirt, from which grass quickly began to grow. Further testing proved that while the substance had damaging effects on fauna and all metals, it has the opposite effect on flora, causing plants to grow at rapid rates at up to four times their normal sizes. More testing is needed to figure out exactly why this happens - it's kind of hard to run tests when all your equipment is reduced to a pile of rust before you can even start.
The creature is capable of understanding and replicating human speech in English and French, and speaks both while in its human or kitsune form. It requests to be called Mr. Corrie, but is not upset by refusal to do so. Typically, Corrie is quite friendly, very docile, and obedient. He carries around what appears to be a plush bird. No one knows where the bird came from, or why it means so much to him. Despite being very obedient, Corrie will not allow anyone to see or touch his toy for reasons unknown. Scientists suspect the 'toy' may actually be another anomalous entity and wish to attempt testing, if Corrie will ever allow it.
Corrie often instigates conversation with security and scientific personnel, and is capable of having in depth conversation.
Scientists have successfully created a material based from [REDACTED] which negates the effects of the substance. When allowed to roam free, Corrie is required to remain in human form and wear gloves made of the material at all times. His containment area is to be covered in this material as well.
He is to be granted access to his own garden and allowed to remain undisturbed unless testing is in process or security detects that something is wrong. Due to his intelligence and benevolent behaviour, Corrie is allowed to roam in specified, protected areas without security present. However, cameras must be on in all areas he visits and constantly watched just in case.
