Syphei

A counterpart to Antheros. Her purpose is to reign him in and keep his violent nature in check. She can be both gentle yet commanding and she has little tolerance for many of her counterpart's more cruel and careless antics.

Despite what she governs over, compared to Antheros she is very much left in the shadows, almost forgotten in comparison to the horrible antics of her counterpart. Without him, she simply cannot persist, she draws energy from him in order to sustain herself, preventing him from growing too powerful. The two were once inseparable until something changed, causing him to turn against her and even attempt to kill her by cutting off her means of getting energy from him so he could grow stronger without restraint. However she was unaware of this until the time he finally reawoke, simply assuming the lack of power and energy was from his extended sleep, opting to join him in that long, seemingly endless slumber.

When they both awoke, the world was different and many new gods were present, and some were no more, having faded to time. Syphel found herself weak, and despite Antheros' ruthless hunting of lesser gods, her strength did not return. She sought out a means to remove what prevents her from taking some of Antheros' power, and hope came in the form of a peculiar creature who aided in breaking the cause of this.
