Vimi’s life wasn’t complicated for the longest time, living at the base of a mountain and working hard to keep things alive and well. The village people knew that the god of the elements, Firnia, hid her realm inside of the volcano, and worked hard to bring her great respect and offerings.
Unfortunately, from unknown events (most likely disputes with other gods), eventually the god grew angry and the volcano erupted, signaling the god’s realm moving. This caused the mountain village to burn to the ground, leaving very few survivors. Vimi, and a deer named Baum were two such survivors, having been out in the forests to gather food and other materials. They fled with any remaining survivors out from the area entirely, believing it to have been cursed and looked for safety elsewhere.
Vimi developed a fear of fire and harsh noises (balloons popping and other such sounds), and eventually moved away from the others entirely, taking Baum with her. She now lives in a small town working at a bakery called ‘Fox Bakery’, living her life modestly and with great caution.
Outwardly, she is incredibly kind and treats the world like a fairy-tale almost. Things will always turn out fine, no matter how much strife. This comes from great trauma and her own survival from it.
